​The survey results showed that there were totally 1.97 million establishments in the Whole Kingdom. Considering by division of business industry, it showed that most of establishments (about 43.7 percent) were engaged in retail trade (except of motor vehicles and motorcycles). Followed by those engaged in accommodation, food and beverage and other service activities were about 17. 9 percent and 12.5 percent respectively.


​LABOR FORCE SURVEY IN THE 2 nd QUARTER OF 2021
showed that there were 57.06 million people, aged 15 years and over,of these, 38.78 million were in the labor force (37.82 million were employed, 0.73 million were unemployed and 0.22 million were seasonally inactive labor force) and 18.29 million were not in the labor force (5.11 million were household work, 4.35 million were students and 8.83 million were others).

In 2020, households across the country had the average total expenditure of 21,329 baht per month, 87.0% were for consumption expenditures and 13.0% were non-consumer expenses. (e.g. taxes, gifts, insurance premiums, government lottery/lottery, interest, etc.)

​In the first quarter of 2021, there are new construction permits. And a total of 61,192 additions or modifications, of which 55,064 are permitted to construct and add or modify buildings, and the remaining 6,128 are those who are permitted to construct non-building buildings.​

Comparing to the labor force rate to the same period as in 2017 increased of 680 thousand (from 37.19 million to 37.87 million), unemployed decreased 15 thousand (from 364 thousand to 349 thousand)​​

Considering the number of underemployed workers (persons who were working less than 35 hours per week and available for additional work). there were 168 thousand persons or 0.4% of the total employed persons.​​
