	1/ ผู้ประกันตนตามมาตรา 33 หมายถึง ผู้ซึ่งขึ้นทะเบียนประกันสังคม และหรือจ่ายเงินสมทบ อันก่อให้เกิดสิทธิได้รับประโยชน์ทดแทน ตามพระราชบัญญัติประกันสังคม 2/ ผู้ประกันตนตามมาตรา 39 หมายถึง ผู้ที่เคยเป็นผู้ประกันตนตามมาตรา 33 และต่อมาความเป็นผู้ประกันตนได้สิ้นสุดลงตามมาตรา 38(2) คือ สิ้นสภาพการเป็นลูกจ้าง และได้แจ้งความประสงค์เป็นผู้ประกันตนต่อ 3/ ผู้ประกันตนตามมาตรา 40 หมายถึง ผู้ที่มิใช่ผู้ประกันตนตามมาตรา 33 และมาตรา 39 และประสงค์จะสมัครเข้าเป็นผู้ประกันตนตามพระราชบัญญัติประกันสังคม พ.ศ. 2533		1/ Insured person under Article 33: a person who pays contributions which provides entitlement to benefits under the Social Security Act. 2/ Insured person under Article 39: any person who has been an insured person under Article 33 and whose insurance has subsequently ceased under Article 38(2) and he or she notify his/her intention to continue to be insured person. 3/ Insured person under Article 40: any other person who is not an employee person under this Act under section 33 and section 39 may apply to be an insured by notifying the intention to the Office.
