THE 2024 BUSINESS TRADE AND SERVICES SURVEY Sample Design The sampling design adopted in this survey is Stratified Systematic Sampling. The sampling units were establishments. Stratification Activities are classified according to the Thailand Standard Industrial Classification of 2009 (TSIC-2009), which serve as the strata. In total, there are 309 strata. Within each stratum, establishments are further categorized by size, based on the number of employees, into six size groups as follows: Size of establishment 1 2 3 4 5 6 Number of persons engaged 1-5 6-15 16-30 31-100 101-200 > 201 Selection of Sampling Unit The sample selection of establishments were done by systematic sampling and performed separately and independently in each sub-stratum. The total sample was 28,700 from 2,054,098 establishments.
