CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION 1.1 Background The National Statistical office has carried out the annual survey of Business Trade and Services since 1968. The main purpose of the survey is to collect the basic business information to be used in implementing the business policies and development planning. This survey planed to conduct every two years. This is the 29 Business Trade and Service Survey. th 1.2 Objectives 1.2.1 To collect basic information on business establishments such as number, type and size of establishment, number of persons engaged, number of employees and remuneration, value of goods purchased, operating expenses, receipts, fixed assets of establishment, etc. 43 1.2.2 To be use for National Account and Input - Output tables compilation. chapter 1 introduction The 2024 Business Trade and Services Survey
