Chapter 3 major finding The 2024 Business Trade and Services Survey The survey results showed that there were a total of 2.1 million establishments in the Whole Kingdom. Considering structure from the size of establishment, it was found t h a t mo s t o f t h em ( a b o u t 1 . 9 m i l l i o n establishments or 91.9 percent) engaged in establishments with 1-5 persons. The rest were establishments with 6 persons or more (about 1.7 hundred thousand persons). Considering by division of the business industry, it was found that most of the establishments (about 42.6 percent) engaged in retail trade (except of motor vehicles and motorcycles). This was followed by those engaged i n food and beverage serv i ce activities, other personal service activities and wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles were about 18.3 percent, 9.4 percent and 9.2 percent respect i ve l y. The other divisions of the business industry not mentioned above had a rather low proportion; each division had less than 7.0 percent of the total (Table A). The data presented in this publication was detailed information on the business operation of business trade and services establishments located in the Whole Kingdom.
