Chapter 3 major finding The 2024 Business Trade and Services Survey Form of legal organization Most establishments (about 82.2 percent) were in the form of individual proprietor. The establishments were in the form of company limited or p ub l i c comp a n y l i m i t e d , j u r i s t i c partnership and community group had proportions, of about 9.2 percent, 4.1 percent and 2.9 percent respectively. The remaining approximately 1.9 percent consisted of establishments in the form of community enterprise, cooperatives and others e.g. government or state enterprise, association, foundation. Form of economic organization T h e m a j o r i t y o f b u s i n e s s establishments in the Whole Kingdom were single unit, about 96.2 percent. The rest of about 2.7 percent, 1.0 percent, and 0. 1 percent were o ffice branch subsidiary, head office and others e.g. franchise, respectively. M o s t e s t a b l i s h m e n t s , approximately 37.5 percent had been in operation for 10-19 years. This was followed by those who operated their business for 5-9 years and for 20 - 29 years, which had proportion of about 2 9 . 0 p e r c e n t a n d 1 5 . 3 p e r c e n t respectively.
