คดีครอบครัว หมายความว่า คดีแพ่งที่ฟ้องหรือ ร้องขอต่อศาลหรือกระทําการใด ๆ ในทางศาลเกี่ยวกับ ผู้เยาว์หรือครอบครัว ซึ่งจะต้องบังคับตามประมวลกฎหมาย แพ่งและพาณิชย์ กฎหมายว่าด้วยการจดทะเบียนครอบครัว หรือกฎหมายอื่นที่เกี่ยวกับครอบครัว (พระราชบัญญัติศาล เยาวชนและครอบครัวและวิธีพิจารณาคดีเยาวชนและ ครอบครัว พ.ศ. 2553, มาตรา 4 ) Family Case means a civil case filed or plea to the court or any act related to t he c ourt that involves minors or family over which the C ivil and C ommercial Code , the Act on Family Registration or other Act related to family shall be applied (Juvenile and Family Court and Procedure Act B.E. 2553 (2010) , Section 4 ) 250 สถิติยุติธรรม ความมั่นคง การเมือง และการปกครอง
