The share of mobile phone users aged 60 years and over rose from 17.9% in 2021 to 19.9% in 2025 , while the share of internet users increased from 13.5% in 2021 to 16.9% in 2025 . Internet use also grew faster than mobile phone use, resulting in a continued narrowing of the gap between the two groups. However, the number of mobile phone users remained higher than the number of internet users in every year.
