คนงาน หมายถึง ผู้ซึ่งทํางานในโรงงาน ทั้งนี้ ไม่รวมถึงผู้ซึ่งทํางานฝ่ายธุรการ การก่อสร้าง สํานักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ ได้ดําเนินการ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสิ่งก่อสร้างทุกประเภทที่เอกชน ที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้ก่อสร้างใหม่ และต่อเติมหรือดัดแปลง ตามเทศบัญญัติควบคุมการก่อสร้างเป็นประจําทุกปีมา ตั้งแต่ปี 2509 และในปี 2535 ได้ขยายขอบข่ายการเก็บ รวบรวมข้อมูลเป็นในพื้นที่ที่อยู่ในเขตควบคุมอาคารตาม พระราชกฤษฎีกาให้ใช้พระราชบัญญัติควบคุมอาคาร พ.ศ. 2522 และเพื่อให้ข้อมูลมีความครบถ้วนสมบูรณ์ใน ทุกพื้นที่ ในปี 2543 จึงขยายขอบข่ายการเก็บรวบรวม ข้อมูลเป็นทั้งในพื้นที่ที่มีและไม่มีการประกาศพระราช กฤษฎีกาให้ใช้พระราชบัญญัติควบคุมอาคาร พ.ศ. 2522 รวมไปถึงพื้นที่ที่อยู่ในเขตนิคมอุตสาหกรรมที่อยู่ภายใต้ พระราชบัญญัติการนิคมอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย พ.ศ. 2522 การก่อสร้างใหม่ หมายถึง การสร้างอาคารขึ้น ใหม่ทั้งหมด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการสร้างขึ้นแทนของเดิมหรือไม่ก็ ตาม ก าร ต่ อ เติ ม ห รื อ ดั ด แป ล ง ห ม าย ถึ ง ก าร เปลี่ยนแปลงต่อเติม เพิ่ม ลด หรือขยาย ซึ่งลักษณะ ขอบเขต แบบ รูปทรงสัดส่วน นํ้าหนัก เนื้อที่ของโครงสร้าง ของอาคารหรือส่วนต่างๆ ของอาคารซึ่งได้ก่อสร้างไว้แล้ว ให้ผิดไปจากเดิม ก า ร ส่ ง เ ส ริ ม ก า ร ล ง ทุ น สํ า นั ก ง า น คณ ะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน เป็นหน่วยงานที่ รับผิดชอบในการพิจารณาและอนุมัติให้การส่งเสริมการ ลงทุน โดยกิจการที่จะได้รับการส่งเสริมการลงทุนต้องเป็น กิจการที่มีความสําคัญและเป็นประโยชน์ต่อเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และความมั่นคงของประเทศ เช่น กิจการที่ผลิตเพื่อการ ส่งออกไปจําหน่ายในต่างประเทศ กิจการที่ใช้เงินทุน แรงงาน หรือบริการในอัตราสูง หรือกิจการที่ใช้ผลิตผล ทางการเกษตรหรือทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ เป็นวัตถุดิบ Worker means a person who works in a factory but excluding a person working in an administrative staff. Constructions: The National Statistical Office (NSO) has collected data annually since 1966 on all types of construction for which the private sector has been granted permission for new construction, additions, or alterations in accordance with municipal ordinances on building construction control. In 1992 , the scope of data collection was expanded to include areas subject to building control under Royal Decrees issued pursuant to the Building Control Act B.E. 2522 (1979) . To ensure comprehensive data coverage across all areas, the scope was further expanded in 2000 to include both areas where such Royal Decrees were in force and areas where they were not, as well as areas within industrial estates governed by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand Act B.E. 2522 (1979) . New Construction means all new buildings whether or not they are re- built. Addition and alteration means any changes of building that its boundary, type, shape, ratio and area are innovated and have effect on its original form.
